Site Description
Nestled at the base of Peak 9 and only a short distance from historic Main Street in Breckenridge, Beaver Run is in the perfect location where you can find adventurous activities, including ski-out access to the Beaver Run Superchair and the Quicksilver Chair. If you want a historical experience, take the complimentary shuttle to downtown Breckenridge; the town was first settled in 1859 when gold was discovered in the Blue River, which still runs through town. The town has preserved and restored its historical roots and offers many fantastic shops, museums, and dining options to enhance your overall experience. Beaver Run is a full service resort featuring the best amenities, including two heated pools, seven hot tubs, steam room & sauna, workout room, and relaxing spa. Beaver Run offers great dining options: Spencer’s Steak and Spirits, Base 9 Lounge and the Skywalk Market - open year round - and the Coppertop Bar and Café - open during winter season.

It is not necessary to have a car in Breckenridge as Free Ride Shuttles are available year round in Breckenridge. In addition, Beaver Run Resort has a shuttle that travels to and from the downtown area on a limited schedule, request onsite through the concierge.  
If you want to head into any of the surrounding towns, use the FREE Summit Stage bus system Summit Stage.

Parking Information

Garaged parking is available for registered guests of Beaver Run and limited to one vehicle per bedroom for an additional nightly fee. Beaver Run offers two different areas for EV charging areas in the underground parking garage - Level G4 and G5.  Oversize, trailers and RVs are not allowed in garages.  All other parking lots within Breckenridge are paid lots run by the town.

Non-Beaver Run guests attending the meeting can park at the skier lot next to Beaver Run, zone 1081.  Pay onsite using the app or kiosks.  Breckpark.com for more information.  

Consider using the free town bus to and from your lodging, especially for the morning session.  

Food & Dining in Breckenridge
The food included will be:
  • a buffet breakfast each day of the meeting except departure day
  • coffee breaks
  • Social Hour with light snacks during poster sessions
The food offered varies by site. Make sure to bring your own (or buy onsite) snacks for in between meals.  Menus of the daily food offered, as well as menus for area restaurants, when available, will be posted on-site. Social Hour is provided in order to give attendees an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

High Altitude Warning
Please be aware that this conference will take place at an elevation well above sea level!

Outdoor Activities
Downtown Breckenridge offers an array of galleries, historical museums, restaurants, and many shops.  Summertime offers endless outdoor activities.  Visit Go Breck for more information on things to do during the meeting breaks.  

Breck's five interconnected peaks offer amazing variety for every skill level. Peak 10 offers steep runs and challenging moguls. Peak 9 is best for beginners. Situated in the heart of the resort, Peak 8 is packed with trails for all levels. Intermediate skiers will feel at home on Peak 7's blue runs, while those seeking an above-treeline experience will get their thrills on Peak 6. Breckenridge does not offer our attendees a discount for lift tickets.  You can book ahead of time online for a slight discount from the ticket window price.

There will be an attendee-led outing to the Nordic Center, sign up onsite.  To access the Nordic Center for other days and times, contact Beaver Run Guest Services at 970-453-6000 to request a shuttle to and from.  

Indoor Activities

Fitness Center is free to paying guests at Beaver Run Resort.  Located in Building 3, in the pool area.

Swimming Pools are free to paying guests at Beaver Run Resort.  Aquatic areas are located in Building 3 and slope side in Building 4.

Meta Yoga Studios is offering daily yoga classes at their studio on Main Street in Breck. 

Beaver Run offers a courtesy shuttle to all their guests, call ahead at 970-453-6000 and allow extra time for pick ups.

The Eclipse Theater screens a variety of blockbuster, indie, classic, foreign, and outdoor films, year-round.
