Outdoor Activities
The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a beautiful and historic landmark in downtown Vancouver and is surrounded by the majestic North Coast Mountains. The hotel offers a complimentary fitness facility, spa (charges apply), indoor swimming pool, a restaurant and lounge. Within a few minutes' walk of the hotel is Robson Street, which provides superb shopping and dining options. Just a few of the must-see attractions in this oceanfront city are Stanley Park, The Vancouver Art Gallery and Granville Island.

One of Vancouver’s oldest commercial streets, it was once known as Robsonstrasse for the sheer number of German and European stores that opened up after the Second World War. The international character of the street still exists. Being right in the heart of the downtown core, you’ll find yourself walking right alongside locals on their way to the office, sports fans heading to the game, and students lining up outside noodle shops.

Explore the 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest and enjoy scenic views of water, mountains, sky, and majestic trees along Stanley Park's famous Seawall. Discover kilometres of trails, beautiful beaches, local wildlife, great eats, natural, cultural and historical landmarks, along with many other adventures. The park offers a wide range of unforgettable experiences for all ages and interests, including Canada’s largest aquarium.
As Vancouver’s premier artistic and cultural hub, located in an urban, waterfront location and steeped in a rich industrial and maritime heritage, this unique destination attracts millions of visitors each year from Vancouver and around the world.  The charm of Granville Island lies in its unexpected mix of uses.  The famous Public Market, open daily from 9 am to 7 pm, is home to more than 50 independent food purveyors and contributes to the Island’s appeal as a renowned culinary destination.

Located 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver, this year round destination offers a skyride tram which, on a clear day, looks back onto the extraordinary beauty of Vancouver. Enjoy skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, and sledding.  There are several dining options at the top of the mountain.
