Site Description
The NTUH International Convention Center is adjacent to the Zhongzheng District, which has the strongest cultural atmosphere. The National Taiwan University Hospital International Conference Center, which is accompanied by the historic medical school campus, is a shining treasure of the Central Government Special Administrative Region.

Having a vehicle is not necessary in Taipei. There is an extensive train and bus system. Consider downloading transport apps while in Taipei to compare routes and prices ahead of time. Another alternative to a vehicle is public shared bikes, called Youbike.

Parking Information
The B2~B3 parking lot is available, with a total of 120 parking spaces,
Cost is NT$50 per hour, with a maximum of NT$400 per day.
Parking spaces are limited and will be parked until full. It is recommended to use public transportation. (Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance)
Food & Dining in Taipei
The food included will be:
- a buffet breakfast at the Sheraton Grand Taipei for guests of the Sheraton
- coffee breaks
- Lunch
The food offered varies by site. Make sure to bring your own (or buy onsite) snacks for in between meals. Menus of the daily food offered, as well as menus for area restaurants, when available, will be posted on-site. Lunch is provided in order to give attendees an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

Outdoor Activities
228 Peace Memorial Park
It is a free open space located about a 10-minute walk from the NTUH. There are Japanese garden landscaping ponds, arch bridges, and green spaces in the park. With trails, an open-air music stage, etc., it is Taiwan's first modern urban park with a European style.
Taipei Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden is less than 2 km from the NTUH. The Botanical Garden covers an area of about 8 hectares. The number of buildings and plant species in the park has far exceeded its previous glory, with as many as 1,500 plants collected. The Taipei Botanical Garden can be called a rich botanical classroom; the Taipei Botanical Garden also has a national monument, the Governor's Office and a herbarium for the public to visit; the Taipei Botanical Garden, the National Museum of History, the Art Museum, etc. form a cultural and educational center, so It has the nickname 'Nanhai Academy'.
Gongguan Night Market
Gongguan Night Market is located in a business district combining with clothing and accessories stores, portrait studios, coffee shops, bookstores, tea houses, and a movie theater. Besides, most restaurants in Gongguan are in South Eastern Asia styles such as Thailand style, Malaysia style, Indonesia style, Myanmar style, etc.
Taiwan has 15,000 temples, which are all free to visit. There are also hundreds of hiking trails, many hot-springs, bikeways to enjoy in Taiwan.

Zhongzheng District Tourism
Zhongzheng District has quite a few historic buildings, which are a good place for people to reflect on the past. There are also the Water Museum, the Postal Museum, the Taipei Botanical Garden, the Presidential Palace, etc., which are all buildings of considerable historical value; in addition, the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall (Yixian) Park), Y17 Taipei Youth Education Center, Guanghua Shopping Mall (Guanghua Digital World), etc. are all good choices for people to travel and have an outing.

General Medical
For all medical emergencies, call 112. The medical services and centers below are the closest in proximity to the conference location.
The Convention Center is attached to the National Taiwan University Hospital and accepts international patients. There is a clinic and emergency services.

If you need to print a poster in Taipei, there are many poster printing companies. Qianye Photocopying Co is about a kilometer from the Sheraton. It is best to contact in advance as they will not be able to print immediately onsite. You can submit a PDF, PSD, AI, TIFF and JPEG file. Email a083149@yahoo.com.tw
