Important Information On Abstract Submission
Abstract selections are peer reviewed by meeting organizers and acceptance is based on quality of scientific content. Organizers may also select some abstracts for a short oral presentation as part of the program at the conference. Poster space may be limited, so it is best to submit your abstract early! Please review the following information carefully.
- Abstracts submitted after the Short Talk Abstract Deadline will NOT be considered for a short talk.
- All abstracts submitted before the short talk deadline will be considered for both a short talk and poster presentation.
- One abstract per meeting per person.
- No duplicate abstracts accepted for a standalone or joint meeting.
- Submitting author’s name is underlined. The submitter is also the presenter, if chosen for a short talk.
- No comments or image boxes in the text of the abstract.
- Abstract title in title case.
- For Greek and scientific symbols (alpha, beta, gamma, etc.), use the Symbol option under the Insert tab in Microsoft Word (or equivalent option in other applications).
- All abstracts submitted for a short talk, poster presentation, and scholarship are reviewed by the meeting scientific organizers and acceptance is based on scientific content and relevance to meeting topics discussed in the program.
- Consideration for short talk, poster presentation, and scholarship requires the authors and their affiliations to be included in the text field, with a limit of 500 words. See below for how to enter this properly to ensure that your abstract can be submitted correctly. We will reach out via email regarding Abstracts that do not meet our formatting guidelines.
