Diverse voices are a critical part of meetings focused on global health problems, providing invaluable insights into scientific and public health challenges, and how to overcome them effectively and sustainably within the context of local culture, environment, public health, and medical resources. These global colleagues are valued and crucial partners in our mission to advance the life sciences and accelerate discoveries that benefit society.
Global Health Awards (GHAs) enable scientists from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to attend select Keystone Symposia meetings, bringing their knowledge and perspectives into discussions on the forefront of science and medicine. The program aims to provide researchers from diverse backgrounds and limited resource settings with the opportunities afforded by participating in top tier international scientific conferences.
These awards are open to students, fellows, career scientists and clinicians from LMICs, and are made possible in part through Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation support, and other global partners. To be eligible you must be from and live/work in a LMIC.
See below for the different available options. Each option has its own application. Not all options are available for every meeting. If the meeting you are interested in participating in is not showing in the application, it means it is either not available or the deadline to apply has passed.
If you are eligible and wish to be considered for any of the awards below, click the “Apply” button for the associated award type. You may fill out an application for any of options listed.
